I feel VERY proud of myself today!
never before having crocheted anything that was vaguely recognisable
(my granny squares could only be called "organic")
I followed the owl tutorial from the lovely Jacqui at Bunny Mummy
and after several false starts and some rather furious unpicking
the result looks. . .just like an owl!
woo hoo, next stop cushion covers- I'm hooked!

Rightly proud - he's lovely :-)
Well done - he's really sweet! I can't crochet anything recognisable (though I've tried!) so I'm in awe of anyone who can follow the instructions and make it work. i think I'll have to go to a class!
Have a good weekend!

Aaah, what a sweetie! Well done!
You made me laugh by calling your granny squares organic! I made some of these owls myself, they are on my blog also... Have a nice weekend, love from Mirjam.
These little owls are popping up every where - it's an owl revol'hoot'ion (sorry!) Pop over and say hi to Squinty - he's from the same pattern so they're practically family!
He's fantastic! You've inspired me to have a go myself! :) x
Love the owl. I only started crochet last October and HAVE to make something every day now!! There are a few examples on my blog. It's very addictive. Make loads more stuff and share and enjoy.
Whh hoo! indeed - he's a fine fellow! Well done. I can't crochet at all - perhaps I'll give one of those a go! x
