the new venue for Lizzie & Claire's Vintage Bazaar
is
The Corn Exchange in Devizes
I've been sorting out boxes of newly acquired vintage textiles,
clothes, homewares and whatnots for my stall at the fair
on
SATURDAY 2nd MARCH 9.30 - 3.30
There's still lots of sifting and sorting to be done until it all feels
"right" and no more tweaking is needed
and then there's the pricing and packing, loading. . .and
last-minute additions to sneak into any left-over space!
I'm really looking forward to going "back" to The Corn Exchange in Devizes
which was the venue of the first ever antique fair I sold at
. . .in 1978!
It would be lovely to see you. . .

I see several items that I would happily take home...The bottom photo would be a must, I can picture it right in front of my imaginary, glass and black lacquer, dressing table..Sigh..

Oh if only! You always seem to have acquired the most amazing stock. I am quite distraught to think I won't get to see it or any of the other lovely stalls I am sure will be there. Good luck to you all and have a great fun and profitable day. Xx

Do you ever dream of coming home with an empty car, I never managed it at an Antiques Fair but I have done a few car boots where I sold everything, once even my table in a fit of rashness :-)

My first fair was in '78 too! Crafts & Antiques in Todmorden, amidst the dark, satanic mills and clog factories.
I love the smock! It looks crinkly - can it be seersucker?

We also went back in time on Saturday in Devizes..saw some good bands in that hall in the past! x
